12 Volt Boat Lights

Christmas lights on the Boat?
I will be going on a Christmas boat parade for the first time with my 26 'foot Bayliner Explorer. Everything runs on 12 volts. I want to use regular 110 volt, like lighting a house. Or I can buy Christmas lights run lighter? I was thinking of using an inverter off cigareet lighter than the size I need lights for 1000? and how much will it cost to drive?
you can get a power inverter from Wal-Mart for $ 20-30. This is your option cheaper. If you want to be chic and actually do it and show it off great. Go buy a gasoline powered generator power they can run from $ 100 to $ 1000 and above it just depends on how fancy you want to stay, but the generator would be the best solution due to the fact that energy shortages would not be a problem.
