12 Volt Pontoon Boat Lights
Does anyone know of a way to turn white lights around a Pontoon Boat that operates on 12 volt battery?
I currently am using a neon green, 4 'long light, floating straight down into the water to fish for crappie at night. It does not work as well as white lights. I have a pair of lights floating bought by Wal-Mart. What I want is a way to attach or be attachable to reach the fishing area of white lights around the boat to be able to get away 12 volt battery, car battery or battery or navy. Someone currently has a system like this or have any ideas?

What I did with my lights (I use a green and white submersible floating white spot – it never did any good night, but I have not given up yet), is to get a pair of 12V accessory plug-in (Cigarette lighter plugs), find them at Walmart in the section of RV accessories. replace the clamps on the lights with them. While you're RV section, grab a pair of sockets for accessories. Next, go to electric cars and you car some 14 gauge copper wire strand primary Some stare at the terminals of the ring, and a pair of switches. Also a couple of fuse holders and fuses in some 2-AMP. Assembly is simple and straightforward – Ring Terminals in wire to the pos battery and a battery neg. Pos battery wire (add fuse holder near the battery) to change, to take, then back to battery neg. Install outlets and switches on their tail, or any convenient place on the boat. if the lights are permanently installed, you can simply omit the jacks and plugs and wires of the lights directly for switches. But please do not leave out the fuses.
