Anyone who has been trained by AutoMax?

I went to this interview to sell cars in San Antonio, and the guy said I was perfect for the job, but I needed to take a training AutoMax that cost me $ 499 up front. He also said that after 90 days the money would be returned and that I would be paid salary + commission. Well, let me know if anyone has done this and if it's worth. Personally, I think u is BS, but you never know! "

Is never a good sign when the employer requires you to pay them for training. Automax Training is a private company that provides this training, and they have to be making money somehow, and I can only imagine that the hard way. I can find surprisingly little about it online, except that it has some unsatisfactory ratings some with Better Business Bureau. What I think is the most shocking part of his MO is to get it in on the grounds that it is a job interview then trying to sell you this service. He's kind of false advertising, eh? I would complain to the city or county or state employment commission, and tell them that the dealership car in question is to answer a job interview, you said you have to pay another company $ 500 for "training" to make the work (if you get it at all). I'd stay away from that, but I hope for the good of others, you will complain. Here is a site where someone discusses Automax Training: http://ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff149847.htm [UPDATE] I learned a little more about this company. Some people say that work like a pyramid scheme – The company recruits people who do the marketing and training, and also recruit new coaches and scouts. All lower levels are always paying someone else above, for example, "workers" to pay the training, instructors pay managers, regional managers to pay, and so on. I met a guy who said no in fact, guarantees a job after their training – this is where illegal practices are deceptive in there you're in business, assuming you're going for a job interview. They (but now "they" have changed – it's Automax, not the dealer) to sell you training, saying you'll do the job only with training. The thing is, the dealership is not the same company that AutoMax, then the business can say that in never actually offered him a job even after you pay and take training. But it is clear that the concessionaire receives a cut of the cash paid for training. The whole thing is extremely viscous. AS car dealerships and car salesmen are NOT a bad enough as it is. I wish him the best with your job search, you find something very good for you, not dishonest.
