South Carolina is the Blue Ridge foothills tourists soft, falling waterfalls, great blue lakes, sandy beaches Atlantic – and everything in between.
In the upcountry "Palmetto State" in the north, a common border 40 miles to Georgia follows the graceful curves of National Chattooga Wild and Scenic River. Boating on the reservoir of 5,000 acre Lake Murray is the main event at Dreher Island. Three boat ramps were installed to ensure easy access to the lake. Once there, fishermen reel in stripers, bream and yellow perch. Of course, if all this fun water wears you down, you can enjoy a picnic, followed by a rapid ride at Billy Dreher Nature Trail.

In the south Thoroughbreds in Windsor, Aiken State Natural Area offers fun in water and land. The South Edisto River and four crystal clear lakes are a nice complement to the forests of pine and hardwood swamps and in Aiken. Visitors spend time canoeing or fishing on the South Edisto, chasing catfish and bass in lakes and forest walks Aiken on the Jungle Nature Trail.

You do not want to miss the famous Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach. With sparkling beaches, spectacular golf courses and grand architecture, this area has much to offer RVers. Spanning more than 60 km along the Atlantic Coast, the area is composed of various communities (Myrtle Beach is considered the center of the Grand Strand), including Ocean Drive, North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove Beach Atlantic, Surfside, Litchfield and Pawleys Island.
