What is Shamballa? Shamballa is a reality?
What is Shamballa? Shamballa is Reality?
I was reading a book called "The Autobiography of a Yogi". That book is very famous and is a book that gives a spiritual vision of India. He gives a glimpse of another side of India. Incredible India. The writer was a disciple of Shyama Charan Lahiri Lahiri also known as mohashoy. The writer was Guru Swami Yogananda Babaji Lahiri Mohashoy guru was a celestial believed to have lived for hundreds of years past. He believed to be living in the Himalayas, and believes it has the power to materialize anywhere at will and the dematerialization will. I will narrate a story to illustrate the nature of such Gurus. This story is a true story experienced by Shyama Charan Lahiri mohashoy.
"The Babaji's first meeting with Lahiri Mahasaya is an enthralling story, and one of the few that gives us insight into the deathless guru. "
These words Swami Kebalananda the preamble was a wonderful tale. The first time he said that I was literally spellbound. On many other occasions I coaxed my gentle Sanskrit tutor to repeat the history that was later told me much the same words by Sri Yukteswar. Both disciples of Lahiri Mahasaya had heard of the fantastic story straight the mouth of his guru.
"My first meeting with Babaji took place in my thirty-third year," Lahiri Mahasaya had said. "In the autumn of 1861 I was stationed in Danapur as a government accountant in the Department of Military Engineering. One morning the manager called me.
"'Lahiri," he said, 'A telegram has just come from our main office. You are being transferred to Ranikhet, where an army post [1] is being established. "
"With one servant, I laid on the journey of 500 miles. Traveling by horse and buggy, we arrived at the site in 30 days of the Himalayas, Ranikhet in [2].
"My office duties were not onerous, I was able to spend many hours roaming in the magnificent mountains. A rumor reached me that great saints blessed the region with your presence, I felt a strong desire to see them. During a trip early afternoon, I was amazed to hear a distant voice calling my name. I continued my vigorous upward upon Drongiri Mountain. A slight uneasiness surrounded just thinking that I might not be able to retrace my steps before darkness had descended over the jungle.
"I finally reached a small clearing whose sides were dotted with caves. In one of the rocky ledges there was a smiling young man stretched out his hand in welcome. I noticed with astonishment that, except for his copper hair, he had a remarkable resemblance to me.
"'Lahiri, you have come!" The saint addressed me affectionately in Hindi. "Rest here in this cave. It was I who called you."
"I entered a neat little grotto which contained several blankets wool and a few kamandulus (begging bowls).
"'Lahiri, you remember that the bank? The yogi pointed to a folded blanket in one corner.
"No, sir." A bit stunned by the strangeness of my adventure, I added: "I must leave now, before nightfall. I have business in the morning in my office. "
"The mysterious saint replied in English," The office was brought to you, not you to the office. "
"I was dumbfounded that this forest ascetic should not only speak English but also paraphrase the words of Christ [3].
"I see my telegram took effect. Yogi's comment was incomprehensible to me, I asked its meaning.
"I refer to the telegram that summoned you to these isolated parts. It was I who silently suggested to the mind of his superior officer to be transferred to Ranikhet. When one feels his unity with mankind, all minds become broadcast stations through which he can work at ease. "He added softly: 'Lahiri, surely this cave seems familiar to you?
"As I maintained a stunned silence, the saint approached and touched me gently on the forehead. With his magnetic touch, a wonderful stream crossed my brain, releasing the seeds of sweet memories of my previous life.
"I remember! My voice was almost choked with sobs cheerful" You is my guru Babaji, who belonged to me always scenes of the past emerge clearly in my mind.!; here in this cave I spent many years in my last incarnation! As ineffable recollections overwhelmed me, hugged me crying my lord's feet.
"'For over three decades, I've been waiting for you here, you waited for me to come back! 'Babaji's voice rang with celestial love. "You ran away and vanished into the tumultuous waves of life beyond death. The magic wand of your karma touched you, and you were gone! Though you lost sight of me, I never did lose sight of you! I chased it over the luminescent Astral Sea, where the glorious angels sail. Through the darkness, storms, agitation, and of course, follow him like a mother bird protecting her cubs. How you lived your life span human womb, and there was a baby, my eye was always on you. When you covered your tiny form in the lotus position Nadia beneath the sands in its infancy, I was invisibly present! Patiently, month after month, year after year, I watched over you, waiting for this perfect day. Now you're with me! Behold, here is your cave, loved of yore! I kept it clean and ready for you. Here is his sacred mantle asana, where daily sat to fill your heart expanding with God! Here is your bowl, from which you often drank the nectar prepared by me! See how I kept the cup in bright polished brass, you can drink them again! The mine, now you understand? "
"'My guru, what can say? Muttered brokenly. "Where one has ever heard of such deathless love?" I looked long and eternal bliss in my treasure, my guru in life and death.
"'Lahiri, you need purification. Drink the oil in this bowl and lie beside the river." Babaji's practical wisdom, I reflected with a quick smile, remember, was it ever surfaced.
"I obeyed his instructions. Though the night was cold down from the Himalayas, a comforting warmth, an inner radiation, began to pulsate in every cell of my body. I was amazed. Was the unknown oil endowed with a cosmic heat?
"Bitter winds whipped around me in the darkness, shouting a fierce challenge. The cold waves lapped River Gogash now and then over my body, lying on the rocky shore. Tigers howled around, but my heart was free from fear, the radiant force newly generated within me conveyed an assurance of unassailable protection. Several hours passed quickly and faded memories of another life wove themselves in the current pattern of bright reunion with my divine guru.
"My solitary musings were interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching. In the darkness, a man's hand gently helped me to my feet, and gave me some dry clothes.
"Come, brother," said my companion. "The master awaits you."
"He pushed his way through the forest. The night was suddenly lit by a dull constant luminosity distance.
"It may be that the sunrise? "I asked." Certainly not spent all night? "
"'The hour is midnight. "My guide laughed softly." There is the dazzling light of a golden palace, materialized here tonight by the peerless Babaji. In the dim past, you once expressed a desire to enjoy the beauties of a palace. Our master is now satisfying your wish, freeing you from the bondage of Karma. [4] He added: "The magnificent palace will be the backdrop to the night of his initiation into Kriya Yoga. All your brothers here join in a hymn of welcome, rejoicing at the end of his long exile. Behold! '
"A vast palace of gold, the glow appeared before us. Studded with countless jewels and set within landscaped gardens, presented a spectacle of unparalleled grandeur. Saints of angelic countenance were stationed by resplendent gates, half-reddened by the glitter of rubies. Diamonds, pearls, sapphires and emeralds of great size and luster were imbedded in the decorative arches.
"I followed my companion into a spacious reception hall. The smell of incense and of roses wafted through the air, dim lights cast a multicolored glow. Small groups of devotees, some fair, some dark-skinned, chanted musically, or sat in meditation posture, immersed in an inner peace. A vibrant joy pervaded the atmosphere.
'Feast your eyes, enjoy the artistic marvels of the palace, since it was brought into being the only one in his honor. "My guide smiled sympathetically as I said a few ejaculations of wonderment.
"Brother," I said, "The beauty of this structure surpasses the bounds of human imagination. Please tell me the mystery of its origin."
"I'm going with pleasure to enlighten you. "dark eyes shone my companion of wisdom." In reality there is nothing inexplicable about this occurrence. The cosmos is a materialized thought of the Creator. This lump, hard ground, floating in space, is a dream of God. He made all things out of your consciousness, even if man in his dream consciousness reproduces and gives life to a creation with its creatures.
"God created the earth as an idea. Then he accelerated it; atoms Power came into being. He coordinated the atoms in this solid sphere. All its molecules are united by the will of God. When he removed his will, the land again, disintegrate into energy. Energy will dissolve into consciousness, the earth idea will disappear from objectivity.
"'The substance of a dream is held in materialization of the subconscious mind of the dreamer. When that cohesive thought is withdrawn in wakefulness, the dream and its elements dissolve. A man closes his eyes and erects a dream of creation, which, upon awakening, he effortlessly distance. He follows the divine archetypal pattern. Likewise, when he awakens cosmic consciousness, he will effortlessly dematerialize the illusions of the cosmic dream.
"'Being one with the will of endless all-realization, Babaji can summon the elemental atoms to combine and manifest themselves in any way. This golden palace, instantaneously created, is real, as this land is real. Babaji created this mansion out of his mind and keeps its atoms together by the force of his will, yes, God created the earth and keeping it intact. He added: "When this structure has served its purpose, Babaji will dematerialize it. "
"As I remained silent in awe, my guide made a sweeping gesture." This bright palace, superbly embellished with jewels, was not built by human effort or with laboriously mined gold and precious stones. It stands solidly, a monumental challenge to man. [5] Who is held as a child of God, even as Babaji has done, can reach any goal by the infinite powers hidden within him. A common stone locks within itself the secret of stupendous atomic energy; [6], yet a mortal is yet a powerhouse of divinity. "
"The wise caught a table nearby, a graceful vase whose handle was blazing with diamonds. "Our great guru created this palace by solidifying myriads of cosmic rays free, "he continued. 'Touch this vase and its diamonds, they will meet all the tests of sensory experience."
"I examined vase, and passed his hand over the smooth room-walls thick with glittering gold. Each of the jewels scattered lavishly about was worthy of a king's collection. deep satisfaction spread over my mind. A submerged desire, hidden in my subconscious lives have been both pleased and seemed extinct.
"My fellow Majestic led me through ornate arches and corridors in a series of chambers richly furnished in the style of an emperor's palace. We entered a huge room. In the center, There was a golden throne, encrusted with jewels shedding a dazzling blend of colors. There, in the lotus posture, sat the supreme Babaji. I knelt on the floor shining on their feet.
"'Lahiri, are you still feasting on your dream desires for a golden palace?" My guru's eyes sparkled like his own sapphires. 'Wake up! All his earthly headquarters is about to be extinguished forever. 'He murmured some mystic words of blessing. 'My son, arise. Receive your initiation into the kingdom of God through Kriya Yoga.
"Babaji stretched out his hand, a fire homa (sacrifice) appeared, surrounded by fruits and flowers. I received the liberating yogic technique before this flaming altar.
"The rites were completed in the early dawn. I felt no need to sleep in my ecstatic state, and walked around the palace, filled on all sides with treasures and objects of art of inestimable value. Descending for beautiful gardens, I noticed, near-by, even the caves and the edges of barren mountain yesterday does not bragging adjacency to palace or flowered terrace.
Re-enter the palace, fabulously glistening in the cold Himalayan sunlight, I sought the presence of my lord. He was still enthroned, surrounded by many disciples quiet.
"'Lahiri, you are hungry." Babaji added, 'Close your eyes. "
"When I opened them, the palace charming and its picturesque gardens had disappeared. My own body and the forms of Babaji and the cluster of chelas were now sitting on the bare ground in the exact location of the palace disappeared, not far from the entrance illuminated the rocky caves. I remembered that my guide had remarked that the palace would be dematerialized, its captive atoms released into the essence of thought from which it had arisen. Still stunned, I looked confident in my guru. I do not know what to expect next on this day of miracles.
"'The purpose for which the palace was created has been served, 'Babaji explained. He lifted an earthen vessel from the ground. "Put your hand there and get the food you want."
"As soon as I touched the cup, great emptiness, was heaped with hot butter luchi fried, curry, sweet and rare. I helped myself, observing that the ship was always full. At the end of my meal I looked around water. My guru pointed to the bowl before me. Lo! the food was gone in its place was water, clear as a stream.
'Few mortals know that the kingdom of God includes the kingdom of worldly accomplishments,' Babaji observed. "The kingdom God extends to the ground, but the latter, being illusory, can not include the essence of reality. "
"'Beloved guru, yesterday night that showed me the link of beauty in heaven and on earth! 'I smiled at the memories of the vanished palace, certainly no simple yogi has received August mysteries of initiation of the environment most impressive Spirit of luxury! I looked quietly in contrast the current scene. The gaunt ground, the roof skyey, the caves offering primitive shelter, all seemed a gracious natural setting for the seraphic saints around me.
"I sat that afternoon on my blanket, hallowed by associations of past-life achievements. My divine guru approached and passed his hand over my head. I went into the samadhi state nirbikalpa, remaining continuously in their happiness, for seven days. Crossing the successive strata of self-knowledge, I penetrated the deathless realms of reality. All illusory limitations vanished, my soul was fully established on the eternal altar of the Cosmic Holy Spirit. On the eighth day I fell at my guru's feet and begged him to keep me always near him in the wilderness sacred.
"'My son,' Babaji said, embracing me," your role in this incarnation must be played on a stage outside. Prenatal blessed by many lives of lonely meditation, you must now mingle in the world of men.
"'A deep purpose underlay the fact that you will not find me right now, until you were already a married man, with modest business responsibilities. You must put aside your thoughts joining our secret band in the Himalayas, his life is in the crowded marts, serving as an example of the ideal family yogi.
'The cries of many bewildered worldly men and women have not fallen unheard on the ears of the Great, "he continued." You have been chosen to bring spiritual solace through Kriya Yoga numerous applicants seriously. The millions who are burdened by family ties and heavy worldly duties will take new heart from you, a householder as themselves. You must guide them to see that the greatest achievements yogis are not banned family man. Even in the world, the yogi who faithfully discharges their responsibilities, without personal motivation or attached the right path to enlightenment.
"The need in us to let the world to the interior that you have already sundered its every karmic tie. Not of this world, you should still be in it. Many years still remain during which you must scrupulously comply with the family, business, citizenship, and spiritual duties. A sweet new breath of divine hope to penetrate the hearts of men arid regions of the world. From your balanced life, they will understand that liberation depends on inner rather than outer, renunciations.
"As remote seemed my family, office, the world as I listened to my guru in the high Himalayan solitudes. But the truth adamantine rang in his words, I submissively agreed to leave this blessed haven of peace. Babaji instructed me in the ancient rigid rules governing the transmission of the yogic art from guru to disciple.
"'Grant Kriya key only on qualified chelas, "Babaji said." He who promises to sacrifice everything in pursuit of the divine is able to unravel the ultimate mysteries of life through science of meditation. "
"'Angelic guru, as you already favored mankind by resurrecting the lost art of Kriya, will not increase the benefit by relaxing the strict requirements for discipleship? I looked pleadingly to Babaji. "I pray that you allow me to communicate Kriya to all candidates, although not at first vote we can conclude inner renunciation. The tortured men and women of the world, pursued by the threefold suffering, [7] need special encouragement. They may never attempt the road to freedom is Kriya initiation be withheld from them. "
"'So be it. The divine wish has been expressed through you. "With these simple words, the merciful guru banished the rigorous safeguards that for centuries hidden Kriya from the world. 'Give Kriya freely to all who humbly ask for help. "
"After a silence, Babaji added:" Repeat for each of his disciples the promise of majestic Bhagavad Gita: "Swalpamasya dharmasya, trayate Mahato bhoyat" – "Even a little bit of practice this religion will save you from dire fears and colossal sufferings "[8].
"As I knelt down next morning, my feet guru for his blessings farewell, he sensed my deep reluctance to leave him.
"There is no separation for us, my beloved son." He played my shoulder affectionately. "Wherever you are, whenever you call me, I'll be with you immediately."
"Solaced the wonderful promise, and the rich with the newly found gold of God's wisdom, I wended my way down the mountain. In the office I was greeted by my colleagues, who had for ten days I thought lost in the jungles of the Himalayas. A letter soon arrived from headquarters.
"'Lahiri should return to the office Danapur [9]," it reads. "The transfer to Ranikhet occurred by error. Another man should have been sent to assume the Ranikhet duties.
"I smiled, reflecting on hidden crosscurrents in the events that led me to this point further away from Portugal.
"Before returning to Danapur, I spent some days with a Bengali family in Moradabad. A group of six friends gathered to greet me. When I turned the conversation to spiritual matters, my host observed gloomily:
"'Oh, these days India is destitute of saints! "
"'Babu,' I protested warmly, 'of course there are still great teachers this land! "
"In a mood of exalted fervor, I felt compelled to relate my miraculous experiences in the Himalayas. The little company was politely incredulous.
"'Lahiri," one man said softly, "the mind has been under strain in the rarefied mountain air. This is a daydream that you said. "
"Burning with the enthusiasm of truth, I spoke without thinking." If I call him my guru will appear in this house. "
"Interest gleamed in every eye, it was no wonder that the group was eager to see a saint materialized in such a strange way. Half-reluctantly, I requested a quiet room and two new woolen blankets.
"'You're going to materialize from the ether," I said. "Standing in silence outside the door, I'll call you soon '.
"I sank into the meditative state, humbly invoking my guru The darkened room soon filled with a dim aural moonlight;. Luminous figure of Babaji appeared.
"'Lahiri, you call me for a pittance? The master's gaze was stern." The truth is for applicants seriously, rather than those of mere curiosity. It's easy to believe when one sees, there is nothing then to deny. Supersensual truth is deserved and discovered by those who overcome their natural materialistic skepticism. He added seriously: "Let me go! '
". Entreatingly fell at his feet 'Holy guru, I realize my serious error;. I humbly ask forgiveness was to create faith in these spiritually blinded minds that I ventured to call him. Because you graciously appeared at my prayer, please do not leave without giving a blessing to my friends. Unbelievers who are at least, they were willing to investigate the veracity of my outlandish claims. "
"'Well, .. I'll stay awhile I would not want your word discredited before your friends' Babaji's face had softened, but he added softly: "Henceforth, my son, I come when you need me, and not always when you call me. [[10]
"Tense silence reigned in the little group when I opened the door. How do you distrust your senses, my friends looked the figure on the bench bright blanket.
"This is mass-hypnotism! One man laughed blatantly." Nobody could have entered this room without our knowledge!
"Babaji advanced smilingly and motioned to each one touching the hot flesh of her body and solid. Doubts dispelled, my friends prostrated themselves on ground in repentance impressed.
"'Let's Halu [11] to be prepared." Babaji made this request, I knew that to continue to ensure the group your physical reality. While the pope was boiling, the divine guru chatted amiably. Great was the metamorphosis of these doubting Thomases into devout St. Pauls. After having eaten, Babaji blessed each of us in turn. There was a sudden flash we saw the dechemicalisation instantaneous electronic elements of Babaji's body into a light spreads vaporous. The God-tuned will power of the master had loosened its scope of ether atoms held together as his body, forthwith the trillions of tiny lifetronic sparks faded in the infinite reservoir.
"'With my own eyes I saw the conqueror of death." Maitra [12], one of the group, spoke with reverence. His face was transfigured with the joy of his recent awakening. 'The supreme guru played with time and space, like a child plays with bubbles. I I saw one with the keys of heaven and earth. "
"I soon returned to Danapur. Firmly anchored in the Spirit, again I assumed the manifold and family obligations of a householder. "
Lahiri Mahasaya also related to Swami Sri Yukteswar and Kebalananda the story of another meeting with Babaji, under circumstances which recalled the guru's promise: ". I will come whenever you need me"
"The scene was a Kumbha Mela in Allahabad" Lahiri Mahasaya told his disciples. "I had gone there for a short vacation from my office duties. As I wandered through the crowd of monks and sadhus who had come from great distances to attend the holy festival, I noticed a gray spotted ascetic who was holding a bowl. The idea arose in my mind that man was hypocritical, using the outward symbols of renunciation without a corresponding inward grace.
"So I passed the ascetic than my astounded eye fell on Babaji. He was kneeling in front of an anchorite of matted hair.
"'Guruji! I hastened to his side." Lord, you are doing here? '
"I'm washing the feet of resigning, and then I'll clean their cooking utensils. Babaji smiled at me as a child, I knew he was hinting that he wanted me to criticize anyone, but to see the Lord as residing equally in all temples of the body, whether of men or arms. The great guru added: "While serving sadhus wise and ignorant, I am learning the greatest of virtues, pleasing to God above all others humility."
There is another factual story about Babaji, which only proves that the gurus in India as there are still the spiritual center of the earth, and they have enormous powers that will be used by gurus like pulling humanity from slipping into oblivion.
This is an incident in 1942 when the king of Kumaon invited an army officer Western Command, LP. Farrel for a picnic trip to the mountains. There was a special reason to invite Mr. Farrell, despite his being a British subject, he was very interested in Indian religion, philosophy and culture. He had few opportunities to witness the demonstration of miraculous feats of some Indian yogis. He became a pure vegetarian. That's why he's always welcome any opportunity to go to the desert of the Himalayas, hoping to find some saint or yogi who could start it spiritual sadhana.
Mr. Farrell, the king and queen and her entourage came to a place near Nainital full of natural beauty. It's so thrilled that they decided to camp out for overnight. Thus, the dozens of tents were pitched and lonely place filled with the bustle of staff. Gossip, Joy, went to eat and drink at midnight. Everyone went to bed and, due to the exhaustion of efforts throughout the day, immediately fell into a deep sleep. The first stage of sleep was no longer Mr. Farrell felt that when there was someone near your bed. He awoke and clearly heard "We need the place where their tents were released. You vacate that post. If you can not understand, then you should come to this northwest lot in front of you. I'll explain everything "But who are you?". – Saying that Mr. Farrell rose the bed and lit the torch, but there was no one .. He left the tent, but there too no one could be seen or heard footsteps of someone. After a momentary fear became normal and returned to his bed to sleep again. It was 3:30 a.m. on his watch.
Despite his best efforts he could not sleep. Somehow he was keeping his eyes closed. Again he felt the presence of someone. Still lying in bed, he opened his eyes and saw a shadow of a person standing in front of him. This time, he again spoke the same words. To identify this person, like Mr. Farrell lit the torch, even the shadow disappeared. Her body began to shaking and sweating. This military officer who is not scared, even watching the horrific carnage in the war, momentarily got un-nerved and stunned by pure imagination a supernatural being. He stayed awake in his bed with his eyes closed until morning, but heard nothing. A strange attraction was awakening within him to see the hill mentioned by the shadowy presence. He put on his clothes and shoes, and silently left the tent and walked toward the hill.
Describing this incident Mr. Farrell has written: "The path to where I was directed to come was very difficult, narrow and dangerous. I was not at all able to climb for me, but I was constantly feeling that someone was showing me the way and was giving me the energy to rise. After an arduous effort of three and a half hours I could rise. It seemed difficult to go ahead due to shortness of breath and sweating. So I sat in a square stone, lying about it for a little rest. Almost two minutes have passed and the same voice woke me up. 'Mr. Farrel! Now you put on your shoes and slowly down the stone and come to me. With these words in the ears, I looked around and saw a saint, with a weak constitution, but the brilliant splendor in the forehead, was parked in front of me. Leave aside the knowledge I had never seen or seen before. So how could he know my name? He was here, so how does your shadow get in my tent in the middle of the night? There was no communication link, like a radio or microphone, and so between us. So how could his voice reach me? Several issues emerged such in my mind. Putting an end to the endless trail of questions sadhu told him that you have seen and heard can not be understood by the ordinary human mind. To this end, have to make time and sadhana of yoga practice, abandoning worldly pleasures and attractions of the senses. There is a specific purpose for which you are called here ".
Farrell could not do if the person was a holy man or a god. The thoughts that arise in your mind were constantly being read by that person as an open book. Mr. Farrell went down the rock and soon reached the place where the sadhu was sitting. The place was so small that only one person could rest there. There was nothing but fire burning in Dhooni (pyre).
Farrell also writes "The Sadhu gave me a pat on the back with your weak hand and was shocked as electricity power as it could be there in that old body. My body was almost breaking with pain due to exhaustion – now seemed light as a flower. How about a humble gesture I knelt by him and touched his feet. I had seen many sadhus, but I always felt that sahdus and saints who have influenced the Indian philosophy and increased their dignity were not those who were wandering the streets, but they were really isolated and dedicated these people only. Their physical bodies can weigh 80-90 pounds, but the intensity of its energy and power was more than that of thousands of rockets and were the treasures of knowledge. "
The Sadhu said I've inspired a couple to reach the place where their tents were released. He was my pupil in his previous birth. His sadhana is half completed. Now I want to guide him back to his sadhana and penance for the welfare universal. But the memories of his previous birth are dormant. The views and circumstances of his birth he is attracting. So he is incapable of assuming sadhana again. I took you through the subtle inspiration. If he comes here and is unable to locate the place, then he will get confused. In this case, what I want will not be possible, therefore, please, to vacate the premises immediately. "
Mr. Farrell said – "Lord, tell me also something about my previous birth? "The Sadhu replied:" My son! These siddhis (accomplishments) are not for the demonstration. They are designed to some special effects and it is best they are only used for that. Of course, if you wish, you can be present at the time that I show you the events of his previous life. Now you go. People are looking for you on the field. I'm also in a hurry. "Mr. Farrell returned to camp. In fact, people came to him. Mr. Farrell recounted the incident with the king. Then he left and pitched camp about 200 yards away.
By the evening of that day, a Young man, in fact, have been looking for this place. After satisfying himself in all aspects, he sat there. However, Mr. Farrell also arrived there. His curiosity was getting more and more intense than the time spent. In a little sadhu also arrived there. Young Mr. Farel and touched his feet and awaited his instructions. The place was the center of a grove of trees .. After lighting the fire sadhu did some puja, recited some mantras and told us to sit in a meditation posture. A ray of light emanating his forehead and a circular patch of light appeared in the trunk of a thick tree. So what was seen at the site was just like a cinema where they saw the characters actually walk and talk. As a film, which saw the events preceding the birth of the youth with their own eyes. Among youth who used to get excited and say – "Yes, yes I had done that. "
In the end, that youth touched the feet of that sadhu and said, "Lord, now my attachment to the mundane world is broken. I ready to take the unfinished sadhana of my previous life. Please guide me so that I can complete the unfinished task "The Sadhu said -". My son! Today you take rest here. The next morning you return to your home. At the appropriate time, I'll call you. "After Mr. Farrell does not know when that youth was called New? What he became later and with that name became popular? But he became a staunch devotee of religion and Indian spirituality. This incident was narrated by Mr. Farrell on an article published on May 17, 1959 issue of Saptahik Hindustan (Hindi weekly magazine).
These incidents, however, are rare, but they are true and these incidents happen and why but it happens to people who are chosen by their own powers. Not everyone and everyone is privileged to such sightings and incidents. Celeste gurus and saints live for eternity and it is believed that they are somewhere in the Himalayas and that these gurus can materialize out of nowhere and can disappear into thin air. It is believed that there are seven celetial such gurus or saints, and to keep a watch over humanity and when the land is encumbered with evil and when the people of this land begin to play God and humans if you start to lose all the qualities of creating more precious in God, these saints come into action. They select the right people with the qualities that are the essence Creator and then will save the Earth and its inhabitants from total annihilation. Indian scriptures are filled with descriptions of immortal souls as Shiva, Bhairav, Hanuman, Ashwatthama and many Siddhas. There is a story in Kalki Purana, which goes like this. When Lord Kalki saw that the world has sunk neck-deep in evils such as indulgence sexual, anger, greed, attachment, ego, laziness, etc., and in light of souls had been extinguished, he decided to direct the masses groping in the darkness of ignorance. Darkness was dense. The whole world was badly trapped in the materialistic interests and pleasures of the senses. Lord Kalki felt that he lacked the energy needed for this awakening of the masses. So Parashuram called his spiritual mentor to the Himalayas and made him perform a penance in a place where he (Parashuram) himself had done it. This penance aroused enormous power, it was necessary for the transformation of the time within Kalki. Lord Parshuram was born in Vedic Yuga, which came much earlier than the Kaliyuga. Its presence in Kaliyuga is also an indication of their immortality and a testament to the fact that the immortal souls like him are still present in the Himalayas. Dr. Hari Dutta Bhatta, Shailesh gave an interesting description of his mountaineering experience Janwali (Garhwal) hill, which is 22,000 feet above sea level, Dharmayuga (Hindi weekly, 23 the August 1964 edition). He was convinced that some supernatural power saved him and his group to get buried under an avalanche. All these events prove the fact that the immortal souls who possess supernatural powers fierce is still present in the Himalayas and they will remain there for an infinite time.
Modern scientists also are actively engaged in research to find the elixir of life. Zoologists from Russia, France, Britain, Germany, USA, etc. have investigated for a long time the process of aging and death. Based on the results obtained so far, they concluded that death is not an inevitable phenomenon. Aging is a kind of disease. If it is possible to find a cure for it, a person can live a thousand years. The modes and methods kayakalpa (rejuvenation) mentioned in Ayurveda also prove this fact.
In traditional stories of India as the Puranas and Brahmanas, it is stressed that, beyond the realms of northern India, had the Himalayan kingdoms of the north with the same culture as in India, which would be the areas we are considering for the Celts. The most important is the famous land of the Kurus Uttara, described as a spiritual paradise north of the Himalayas. Comparison of European Celtic culture with Hindu culture shows a large number of similarities between them. Some these were shown in a two-part article that appeared in May and June issues of Hinduism Today magazine. Therefore, we have evidence to back up cultural traditions and archeology. Religiously, these Vedic redhead American people are known to have some point resume Buddhism. Certain traditional sources indicate that they learned Buddhism Buddha Siddhartha Gautama before, which was called Kasyapa. A rishi Kasyapa also appears as one of the oldest Vedic rishis as an associate and northern regions as Kashmir, which was originally called Kasyapa Mira Kashyapa or lake. Tibetan literature, I am told indicates that they have learned not to Buddhism in India, but of "Shambala" which is placed exactly where these people lived.
This prediction was made in a Kalchakra a sacred text of Buddhism, now mainly in Tibet, of which I talk later, you can find from the education necessary to prepare for the prophesied war. We found him "the psychology of invasions and detailed instructions on how to build more machines to repel the invaders. The sacred texts insist the Dark Ages will last until the year 2424 AD, when a "great war "will begin in India. The human race is saved from total destruction by the armies of horses Shambhalla 'Flying horse and "boats that fly in the air. According to the Vedic text Shambhalla is also called as the" Paradesh.
James Hilton wrote about this in 1933 Lost Horizon, Hollywood portrayed in the 1960 movie "Shangri-la," and recent movies like "Kundun," "Little Buddha" and "Seven Years in Tibet "allusion to the magical utopia. Even author James Redfield, noted for his new best seller The Celestine Prophecy age, wrote a book called" The Secret of Shambhala: In Search of the Eleventh Insight.
Shambhala, which in Sanskrit means "place of peace, tranquility," is thought Tibet as a community where perfect beings and semi-perfect live and are guiding the evolution of humanity. Shambhala is considered the source of the Kalachakra, which is the branch higher and esoteric Tibetan mysticism. According to the esoteric Vedic scriptures this place is somewhere in the Himalayas and it could be the last place Hindu pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansorovar.
Shambhala can be identified with the region around Mount Kailash, the sacred mountain in Tibet to Hindus and Buddhists. This makes sense because, according to the etymology Tibetan, Shambhala the abode of happiness, a synonym for both the Hindu god Shiva and Buddha Heruka figure. Hinduism Mount Kailash regard as the seat of Shiva, and Buddhism as the main site of Heruka. Some scholars identify three regions between India and Shambhala – Bhotia Li and Chin – Such as Tibet, China and Khotan, and then presume that Shambhala is somewhere in Eastern Turkestan (the Chinese province of Xinjiang), but this appears to be erroneous. These three names are also used, respectively, for Terai, Kathmandu Valley and Nepal's Dolpo region of southern, central and northwest. The sixth region, Himavan, the land of snows, is a common name for Tibet. Mount Kailash is not really Shambhala, however, represent only Shambhala on earth. The Kalachakra Tantra talks about four sacred places around Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya), the place where Buddha manifested his enlightenment: Five Mountain peaks in the east, Potala Mountain in the south, Shambhala in the north and west Oddiyana. These are special places associated respectively with Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara, Kalki rulers and Guru Rinpoche. They can be identified with the north Wutaishan China, the Vindhya in southern India, Mount Kailash in Tibet and Swat in northern Pakistan. If we go to these places, but not actually find those great beings living there, or even archaeological remains the same. As explained earlier, the journey to Shambhala is a spiritual being, not a physical one.
"Holy places never began. They were saints from the time they were discovered, strongly alive because of the invisible presence of breathing through them. The man is amazed or scared that he feels the vibrations of invisible power in the air, and religions, faintly falling behind, as all institutions human gradually assign various names and symbols to describe the mystery. "
Mount Kailash is the best place of pilgrimage for the disciples four religions. For Hindus the mountain is the abode of Shiva, the God, symbolizing all the destructive forces of the universe and yet at the same time, all the power of regeneration and energy. At the peak of Kailash, Shiva sits on his heavenly throne. Almost significantly, the mountain is also understood as the physical manifestation of the mythical Mount Meru. Hindus have for centuries crossed the Himalayas to circumnavigate Kailash, believing that a mountain circuit will erase the sins of one life and break the karmic cycle.
Hindus also believe that the waters of the sacred lake Manasarovar were created from the mind or 'mana' of Brahma, the god who symbolizes strength creative universe. Hindus revere all of the Himalayas as a manifestation of divine consciousness. The presence of the sacred mountain lake and is the approval Final of the sanctity of the range. Buddhism, especially Mahayana Buddhists of Tibet and the surrounding area, call the mountain Kang Rinpoche, "precious snow mountain. For them, this is the cosmic mountain, a link between the physical and spiritual universe. For Buddhists and Jains the concept of Meru is also crucial, it is at the center of their cosmology. Kailash is seen as the physical manifestation of Mount Meru.
The Jains, a small religious sect, but important India, known as Mount Kailash Ashtapadis. It was the mountain that the founder of the faith, Rishabanatha reached spiritual liberation.
Before the introduction Buddhism in Tibet, the dominant faith was the religion Bonpo. For fans of Bonpo, Kailash was and still is known as the mountain of nine floors of the swastika, the mystical soul the Tibetan Plateau. The swastika is the image of the saint for all religions and is a symbol of spiritual strength. Kailash Manasarovar and was also dubbed the source worldwide. Early recognition and Kailash pilgrims near the lake as a source from which emerged the river systems of virtually the entire Indo-Gangetic plain. Indeed a few kilometers from the holy peak can be traced the origin of the river Indus, Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Karnali, and although a little further, the sacred river Ganges. Rivers that should be considered a saint is no surprise, since they are the lifeblood of northern India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and irrigate land that still holds one third of the population the subcontinent. That its origin should be seen as legendary an object of devotion and pilgrimage is easily explained. The rivers that find their source in this remote part enter the Tibetan plains thousands of miles away, a unique and extraordinary phenomenon. In geographical chronology, the Tibetan Plateau was formed before the Himalayas themselves, and therefore the river systems that drain from the previous plateau, the mountains through which they flow.
As the Aryan tribes moved South Asia Central to the Indian subcontinent, so they developed a cosmology, which became the basis of the Vedic faith. Central in this cosmological model was a mountain called Meru, "Shining As the morning sun and as a smokeless fire, immeasurable and unattainable by men of "many sins. On the summit of Mount Meru was Indra's celestial city and even Swarga leadership in the mountain was the way to the stars, where the souls of the dead await rebirth.
Perhaps the most complete description of the cosmological model has Vishnu Purana's, which explains how the world is composed of seven continents, surrounded by seven seas. The center console has Meru as its core, bounded by three mountain ranges north and three south. Mount Meru is the central point of the universe, and the navel of the world, of which four rivers have their origin. This legend spread throughout Asia and found expression in the design of temples, stupas, pagodas and other places of religious worship. As the Vedic beliefs became the religions we are aware of today, Kailash as it became the avatar of the land of Mount Meru. People of all ages from around the world have been in awe at the majestic mountains. From these experiments sublime myths come about big mountains as homes of the gods, such as stairways to heaven, as pillars of the earth. A mountain range in particular has inspired such admiration, love and devotion – the vast Himalayas.
Tibetans and Indians, especially the Himalayas performed great as sacred. Her big nipples seemed to get beyond the profane human sphere and stretch upwards, touching the divine realm of the gods, then Tibetans and Hindus saw the mountains as a means of transition between both worlds human and divine. The mountains were created, the myth tells us, by the god Indra. A large herd of elephants flying had displeased him, so he punished by cutting his wings and turned the Himalayas. The mountains were important to all the gods for all the sacrifices made there. They were especially meaningful to the god Shiva, however, that paradise was Mount Kailas, and whose profound meditation on the mountain ensured the maintenance of all things. The most sacred mountain of Himalayan entire range, however, was most definitely the Mount Meru. As discussed, Mount Kailas is the home of the great god Shiva. Well, Mount Kailas is an actual mountain in the Himalayan region Ngari Tibet. It rises 22,000 meters tall edge of the Tibetan plateau and is very inaccessible. He is Mount Kailas, then what is the physical embodiment of Mount Meru people to Buddhists and Hindus. Mythical Mount Meru was thought to be the pivot of the universe, seated in the center of the Himalayas. Meru myths say that rested on the hood of the snake coiled Vasuki primary, which is said to have caused earthquakes when he yawned. It was also believed that the world would be eaten by this snake old at the end of this season, cycle world. Hindus and Buddhists, both considered as sacred Mount Meru for it was thought to be the center of the cosmos and supported all spheres of existence, the city of God Brahma gold in its heyday, the seven underworlds at its base, and especially as the source of the sacred Ganges river. They said that the slopes of Mount Meru was full of bright and precious stones were thick with trees laden with delicious fruits. Their peaks were gold rings and a huge lake surrounded it. The deity of the mountain is reflected in the objects of religious worship yantras, these peoples to the mountain is symbolized in its conical shape. Mt Kailash, at 6714 m also known as a magician, Kailasa & Kang Rinpoche (Jewel of Snow), since time immemorial has been celebrated in many Eastern cosmologies as Mt Meru, the axis mundi. And as the center of physical and metaphysical universe, Mt. Meru is sacred to Buddhists, Jains, Hindus and Bonpos. For Hindus, the mountain represents the seat of Lord Shiva, for Buddhists, a terrestrial projection of the cosmic mandala of Dhyani-Buddhas and bodhisattvas … The Wheel of Life;. for Bonpos, Kailash was the sacred nine storey Swastika Mountain, where the founder Sherab Bonpo descended from heaven. Four major rivers of the Indian subcontinent originates from here: the Karnali, which feeds into the Ganges (south), the Indus (north), the Sutlez (west) and the Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo, east.
The only circumambulation around Mount Kailish wipes away the sins of a lifetime. Revered by Buddhists, Hindus, Jains and Bons, this remote Tibetan mountain attracts thousands of pilgrims.
High in the remote western Tibetan plateau in the northern region of the Himalayas, sits Mount Kailash, the holy mountain. The Tibetan people have named it Kang Rinpoche, or snow jewel, and Indians refer to it as Mount Meru. Buddhist, Hindu and Jain pilgrims from all over the world come to this holy mountain to the point, instead of climbing the peak of 22,028 feet high. In fact, to climb Mount Kailash is prohibited. The only person who ever was on top of the sacred mountain was Milarepa, an 11th century Tibetan Buddhist yogi.
Mount Kailash is commonly referred to as the center of the universe in Eastern religious texts from India to Japan and Rooted in the seventh hell for breaking the highest heaven, it is believed also become the pillar of the World. Hopi Indians acknowledge Kailash as being on the opposite side of its Black Mesa, so it is a cosmic backbone.
Hindus who walk around the perimeter of 32 miles of Mount Kailash use the term parikrama. They believe that Shiva, one of its three main gods, resides atop what they call Mount Meru. The Tibetans refer to the time circumambulation as a kora. Both words mean the same thing: the pilgrimage. Take a walk around the mountain can wipe value a life of sin or bad karma that is the term in Eastern religions. "He who performs the Parikrama, the ritual circumambulation of the holy mountain, with a mind fully dedicated and focused undergoes a full cycle of life and death "Anagarika Lama Govinda, The Way of White Clouds. The Jains who refer to Mount Kailash ashtapada believe that the founder of their faith, Rishabanatha, resides at the top of the mountain. And Bonds [or Bonpos], the religion which predates Buddhism in Tibet, claiming all of mystical region and the nine-story Swastika Mountain is the seat of all power. When viewed from the south face, the swastika can be seen. Unlike the Jains, Buddhists or Hindus, Bons do circumambulations time. "According to reports Bonpo, 18 enlightened teachers will appear in this eon and Shenrab Tönpa, the founder of the religion Bon, is the enlightened teacher of this age. He says he was born in the mythical land of Olmo Lung Ring, whose location remains a mystery. The land is traditionally described as dominated by Mount Yung-drung Gu-tzeg (Edifice of Nine Swastikas), which many identify as Mount Kailash in western Tibet. Due to the sacredness of Olmo Lung Ring and the mountain both counterclockwise swastika and the number nine are of great significance in the Bon religion. "From" The Office of Tibet "
Devotee Tibetan Buddhists will make full-body prostrations, a feat which takes several weeks, around Mount Kailash, increasing the amount of purification will receive. Many pilgrims make a complete lap of the mountain in one day, an achievement even more difficult by the altitude of 15,000 feet. Pilgrimages are by nature would be arduous, and as the Ngari region of Mount Kailash has no airports or train stations nearby, people reach their spiritual destination by foot, yak riding, and jeep. Tarchen is a small village near the southern face of the mountain, the place where most pilgrimages begin. Those who are unwilling or unable can make the kora around the mountain can hire someone who will thus share the merit accumulated 50/50. This does not allow either the person who sponsors the kora or what actually makes the journey to achieve instant illumination. For those who make the kora, and supports highly changeable weather conditions, there are four points of physical prostration that honor. Many pilgrims make sure you visit the three monasteries located along the path. Near the top of the kora is Tsal Shiwa, named after the famous crematorium in India. Pieces of clothing, a lock of hair or a drop of blood are left there as an offering, meaning understanding pilgrim's death and rebirth. At the highest point of the circuit, just over 18,000 feet, is Dolma La Pass, which means "one who helps to cross." [The name Sanskrit for females is Tara Buddha]. This refers to the crossing to the release, and be able to complete the pilgrimage circuit around of Kailash. The great stone of Tara is wrapped with long strings of colorful prayer flags that send messages of peace with each tab that make this region windy.
Mount Kailash is also the source of four major rivers: the Indus, Brahmaputra, Karnali and Sutleg. Comparing the Indian legend of Mount Meru from whose summit flows four great rivers that irrigate the whole of Asia, it is hard to miss.
Eighteen miles southeast of Kailash is the circular, turquoise, Lake Manasarovar or Tso Rinpoche [Precious Lake], a circuit of 64 km, which is rarely completed except by the most devout. Bathing in the lake, or even dousing his head with holy water, is said to be of great spiritual benefit to those who can face the cold water, which many claim contain miraculous powers. Hindus say that a complete immersion in the lake ensures that they be reborn as a god. Tibetans, however, avoid bathing in the lake not to dirty it. This is a freshwater lake, three miles above sea level the sea. There is a saltwater lake, separated by a narrow peninsula, called raksas Tal or lake devil. Pilgrims bathe or not circumambulate this body as crescent of water, but they pay their respect by looking in your direction.
Five monasteries were rebuilt on the shores of Lake Manasarovar since 1981-before Chinese invasion in 1959 there were eight. Weary pilgrims are allowed to stay in monasteries. Less than 500 Indian nationals are allowed to make pilgrimage per year due to Chinese and Indian governments. The Indians allowed are selected through a lottery and the ability to pay their own way is evident the fact that most of them are middle-aged businessmen in big cities.
Before the Cultural Revolution, the pilgrims were selected for their generous faith. They traveled on foot or horseback. Some of them made the trip, making full prostrations along the way, an effort that could take years, depending on distance and weather conditions. Few pilgrims were armed, making it prey to thieves. But even under such extreme conditions, were not afraid of death; death during a pilgrimage virtually guaranteed them a lot of good karma points. Pilgrimages require a degree of flexibility that most people are not required to hold in a world with insurance benefits and retirement plans guaranteed. To make a spiritual journey is to get rid of the habits and open the heart, causing the less ego peregrina and pure, then allowing it to achieve transformation and positively influence others.
"No there is no place more powerful to practice, more blessed, or more wonderful than this;! May all pilgrims and practitioners welcome, "Milarepa, the Tibetan Buddhist yogi [circa 1052 - 1136]
The spiritual center of the world had different names in different traditions, but in many spiritual systems that refers to a certain extent, unique emanation spiritual in nature, most often described in a way that indicates that is placed in a parallel universe, or a higher dimension. The Hindus call "Paradesha" Buddhists "Shambhala," Christians and Jews, the "Garden of Eden." In esoteric literature, became known as "Shangri-La" "Agarttha" or "Land of the Living."
The first European explorers to Tibet has always said the same tale of a hidden spiritual center of power. The adventurers told fantastic tales of a hidden kingdom near Tibet. This special place is known by numerous regional and local names, which undoubtedly caused much confusion among travelers sooner the true identity of the kingdom. These early travelers know how Agharta (sometimes spelled Agharti, or Asgarth Agarttha), although now known as Shambhala.
Is there really a hidden galaxy of minds living in seclusion in an inaccessible part of Asia, or is just a myth? Shambhala, the "Hidden Kingdom", is thought to Tibet as a community where perfect beings and semiperfect live and are guiding the evolution of humanity. Shambhala is considered to be the source of Kalacakra, which is the highest branch and most esoteric of Tibetan mysticism. The Buddha preached the teachings of Kalacakra an assembly of holy men in southern India. Later, the teachings remained hidden for 1,000 years until an Indian yogi scholar went in search of Shambhala and was initiated into the teachings of a holy man he met on the road. The Kalacakra then remained in India until it made its way to Tibet in 1026. Since then, the concept of Shambhala has been widely known in Tibet and the Tibetans have been studying the Kalacakra at least 900 years, learning its science, practicing its meditation, and use your system astrology to guide their lives. As one Tibetan lama put it, like Shambhala could be the source of something that has affected so many areas of Tibetan life for so long and yet exist?
Tibetan religious texts describe the physical composition of the earth, hidden in detail. It is believed that the appearance and eight petals of the lotus flower, it is composed of eight regions, each surrounded by a ring of mountains. In the center of the innermost ring is Kalapa, the capital, and the king's palace, which is composed of gold, diamonds, coral, and precious stones. The capital is surrounded by mountains of ice, which shine with a crystalline light. The technology of Shambhala is supposed to be highly advanced, the palace contains special skylights made of lenses which serve as high-powered telescopes to study extraterrestrial life, and for hundreds of years the inhabitants of Shambhala have been using aircraft and transportation vehicles, which through a network of underground tunnels. On the way to enlightenment, Shambhalans acquire powers as a clairvoyance, the ability to move at great speed, and ability to materialize and disappear at will. The prophecy of Shambhala states that each of its kings will rule for 100 years. There will be 32 in all, and as their reigns pass, conditions in the outside world will deteriorate. Men will become more warlike and pursue power for its own well, and an ideology of materialism will spread over the land. When the "barbarians" who follow this ideology are united under an evil king and think there is nothing left to conquer, the mists will lift to reveal the icy mountains of Shambhala. The barbarians will attack Shambhala with a huge army equipped with terrible weapons. 32 Then the king of Shambhala, Rudra Cakrin, will lead a large army against the invaders. In a last great battle, the evil king and his followers will be destroyed.
By definition Shambhala is hidden. Believed to exist somewhere between the Gobi desert and the Himalayas, but it is protected by a psychic barrier so nobody can find the kingdom which is meant for. Tibetan lamas spend a great deal of their lives in spiritual development before attempting the journey to Shambhala. Those who try to get there that are not wanted are swallowed by cracks or caught in avalanches. People and animals tremble at its borders as if bombarded by lightning invisible. There are guides to Shambhala, but they describe the route in terms so vague that only those who have already embarked upon the teachings of Kalacakra can understand them.
strange sightings in the area where Shambhala is thought to be seem to provide evidence of their existence. Tibetans believe that the land is guarded by beings with superhuman powers. In early 1900 an article in an Indian newspaper, the statesman, spoke of a great Briton, camping in the Himalayas, saw a very tall man, dressed lightly with long hair. Apparently noticing that he was being watched, the man jumped to tilt and disappeared. For Maj. astonishment, the Tibetans with whom he was camping showed no surprise in their history, they calmly explained that he had seen one of the snowmen who guard the sacred land.
A more detailed description of these "toys" charge was given by Alexandra David-Neel, an explorer who spent 14 years in Tibet. While traveling through the Himalayas, she saw a man moving with extraordinary speed and described it as follows: "I could clearly see her face perfectly calm and impassive, his eyes wide open with his gaze fixed on some invisible distant object situated somewhere place high in space. The man was not performed. It seemed life itself from the ground, proceeding by leaps. It was as if he had been endowed with the elasticity of a ball, if recovered and each time his feet touched the ground. His steps had the regularity of a pendulum. "
While people (especially Tibetan lamas) have been searching for Shambhala for centuries, those who seek the kingdom often never return, or because they have found the hidden country and have remained there or because they were destroyed in the attempt. Tibetan texts containing what appear to be historical facts about Shambhala, such as names and dates of their kings and records of events occurring in the corresponding outside world, give Tibetans additional reason for believing that the kingdom exists. Recent events that seem to correspond to the predictions of the mythic kingdom add strength to his belief. The disintegration of Buddhism in Tibet and the growth of materialism throughout the world, along with the wars and unrest of the 20th century, all equipped with the prophecy of Shambhala.Shambhala is the place where King Sucandra from the north of Kashmir, brought and developed the practice of Kalachakra, after having received their emancipation and teachings in Dhanyakataka.
Shambhala Prophecy
The prophecy of Shambhala states that each of its kings will rule for 100 years. There will be 32 in all, and how to spend their kingdoms, the conditions of the outside world will deteriorate. Men will become more warlike and pursue power for its own sake, and an ideology of materialism will spread on earth. When the "barbarians" who follow this ideology are united under an evil king and think there's nothing left to conquer, the mists will lift to reveal the icy mountains of Shambhala. The barbarians will attack Shambhala with a huge army equipped with terrible weapons. 32 Then the king of Shambhala, Rudra Cakrin, lead a large army against the invaders. In a last great battle, the evil king and his followers will be destroyed. The Buddha foretold that all who received the empowerment Kalachakra mandala would be reborn in her.
