The foam covering on the fairing of the engine lid is trash, (it was org-cell foam open approx. 3 / 8 thick). Need to replace bad (70 hp johnson). I looked over the net already. Someone saw had used "Great Stuff" spray foam expanding in a car. Yes, I'll sand it to about 1 inch thick for clearance. I need to hear from other Boat owners / Greater concern.'s Mechanic's what temp. This material catchfire or burning. 3 miles from the coast is no place for that. Thanks.
