Boat Covers Distributors
Chevy 350 Holley marshes around 3000rpms. Need help.?
This engine is one Boat ski centurion 1987. The engine itself is a 1984. It has a Holley. the distributor has changed from a vacuum advance. I know for a fact that the secondaries are not opening AT ALL. I checked the diaphragm spring and there, but the seal seems to be in good condition. the hose that I believe I've ever run for the distributor vacuum advance is connected. The engine runs well at low revs, but the marshes around 2500-3000. I opened the bonnet and open hand side as my friend punched the gas and I had clean energy total. Please help. Thanks.
the secondary level only open the throttle open [vacuum], and controls how fast the spring or slow, they open. I do not think they have anything to do with your problem. could be a timing issue or the carburetor may need attention. You probably is out of fuel or timing. Another thing to check is the exhaust. if its obstruction which will cause the same problem and it happens many times in boats.
