What lights are required for my Boat trailer?
I live in Georgia and has a trailer for just under 80 "and less than 19 feet long. I'm getting a new light kit and wondered what all the lights that I needed. I know I need the rear lights with turn signals and license plate light. I do not know if I need two in front of the trailer near the tongue or if I need two front and back cover of the wheel forward and backward. Any help out there?
Seattle is good response. The reason is to prevent someone from trying to turn or drive between you and your boat. In my case I was in Pueblo CO when a truck turned in front of me, he was pulling about 40 'trailer that was really a transport of gravel, he only had rear lights.
