Boat Covers Great Lakes
Milky oil from the valve cover of an interior / outboard Boat?
My friend just bought a used boat. He sat for a moment and had not been used. We just took to the lake to check it out and 5 minutes walk to the large opening, the water began to flood into the boat aqueous and oil shot out of the valve cover hose. It started great and it really ran great, except for this. I have a boat with an outboard motor and I'm not sure how the cooling system on this one, but it seemed that the engine was throwing water on the boat and not let him back. and getting into the oil. Does anyone know? That sounds like a gasket or something worse?
the flood water in the boat may be several areas. First, drain is installed at the bottom of stern. 2 bellows boots torn exhaust after the exhaust manifold and riser. 3 is split shifts or gimbal bellows located between the transom and outdrive. and the worst is past u have some cracks in the block of frost. External block crack letting water into the boat and cracks on the inner wall of the cooking oil to the water to mix with oil. Note: If the boat was submerged or flooded, then water can enter through seals, but ur saying on the boat taking on water and leads to the conclusion that both the symptoms that you have cracks freeze damage. means the replacement engine and probably manifolds.
