Lakeview Lodge offers 40 rooms with private decks overlooking the lake. It is an alternative to the cabin and camping accommodation. All rooms have a balcony to see the lake. Amenities include outdoor grill, bonfires and fully equipped kitchens. Visitors can enjoy swimming, Boating and canoeing in the swimming area. There are mini-train rides, horse riding and a golf course. Children may experience leisure possibilities, like carriage rides, Boat ramp, hiking and biking.
Nearby attractions are the Talimena Skyline Drive, Beavers Bend Wildlife Museum, Museum of the Red River and the Little River National Wildlife Refuge. Big Cedar RV Park
Big Cedar is located between Winding Stair and Kiamichi mountains around the Ouachita National Forest. It lies in the shadow of Talimena Scenic Drive. The park offers cabins, tent sites and RV hookups on the Kiamichi River Valley.
This Park has three new and fully equipped cabins for rent. It can sleep six and four people. Two larger cabins have full kitchens and three have private baths. Amenities include a cabin picnic table and a barbecue. It also offers modern amenities such as cable-operated laundry and WiFi. Booth fees cost $ 65 to $ 75 per night with taxes.
RV campsites have full water service and electricity. placeholders have full access to changing rooms with shower and coin operated laundry. RV fees are $ 24 per night.
Honey Creek State Park
Honey Creek is a camp overlooking the beautiful lake. The park of 30 hectares sits on a hill with 150 local primitives, 30/50 amp RV sites, picnic areas, 206 campsites and two group shelters covered.
