Catamaran Circumnavigation?
If you want to spend a year or two at sea sailing across the Pacific from San Francisco for the South East says Asian, or other comparable distance where a lot of open water is covered, what legenth catamaran would do the trick. I was looking at the boats and catamarans 40 more '+ I see are more than $ 500,000 to $ 1 million. Now I do not know if I'm looking at the boats with gold pieces, ie a price typical. I hate to give up the thought, but those prices seem totally impractical. How many are necessary for the crew of a Boat that could do the trick and what are some companies / builders to buy. how new and well equipt are these cats? And u evaluated among cats and mono to cross s these high seas?
