Boat Covers Vents

Should I stay or should I run?
I have been dating a wonderful man for a year. He has a teenage daughter and an ex-wife, who is an addict drug and alcoholic. The former has always been exceptionally good for me and is a sweet woman. My problems with the situation are many: 1) your ex calls or stops by to see my boyfriend only to vent about how miserable she is when she gets drunk. This is the day. 2) My boyfriend and his ex never discussed drugs and alcohol with their children. They also played "hide" when the mother gets drunk and lying to the child about why the mother is unable to do whatever she can do that day. She also runs her daughter while she was drunk and my boyfriend never said a word to her about her behavior. 3) is own property together. I'm crazy to let this continue? My boyfriend says he does not want to rock the Boat too much for fear that their relationship will turn into animosity. Suggestions?
You are the witness of a very healthy relationship. If he wants to rock the boat or not, he is stepping to the plate and 1) Defining the boundaries between himself and his two ex-) Be honest with your daughter about what is happening to the mother. The cover-up tactic never works Long-term 3) Protect your daughter from being killed by the mother being too liquored up and driving He needs to bite the bullet and freaking guidelines with your ex, or you need to leave the situation soon. You do not want or need to be here when it finally hits. Leave the door open for him to contact you when he has resolved this situation, if you really love, but draw from it as quickly as possible.
