The Yanmar 2GM20 diesel engine is an interior made by Japanese firm Yanmar Co. Ltd.. It is used in a wide range of sailboats and motorboats.
Specifications
It is a four-stroke, vertical, water cooled diesel engine. It is built around two cylinders (hence the "2" 2GM20) 75mm in length and 72 mm in the course, adding 0.635 liters in displacement: Each cylinder is about the size and volume of 300ml can of soda. Each time a filter is dismantled or changed, you need to bleed it in order to remove excess air, once again opening the upper part of ventilation to let the diesel pursuing all air (diesel fills the filter by gravity generally the case for the primary filter, or with the help lift the fuel pump, usually the case for the fuel filter engine) and diesel starts to sprout.
