Property left by tenant, moved to be forever?
A former roommate was pleasantly changed. He left several vehicles, boats, trailers, lawn tractors, etcf. some in working condition, and my area is full of other items. A garage full of equipment (can barely walk through it), Some furniture, TVs. He is taking his time to move them and want them off my property. He refuses to pay storage. What can I do? I'm in North Carolina North.
Send him a certified letter that he must sign, stating he has 30 days to remove his property or be eliminated. The postman will leave a note in your mailbox e-mail stating that he has a certified letter waiting for him at the post office if he is not home to sign. You have to make some effort to inform you that you want to get rid of your stuff.
