Where to camp in or near Duluth?

My wife and I are looking to make an excursion three or four days camping near the area of Duluth is a looking for recommendations for where to go. We will be camping tent camping equipment and be a facilitator. We are not surviving the desert, why not would be interested in walking 30 miles to a camp. Shower Facilities Requirements Fire Pit toilets A real feeling of camping (not to be located 3 feet in RVs both sides) Things that would take advantage (if offered) Access Access to trails for biking trails Canoe Rental Canoeing and Light Fishing Guided Fishing or Fishing Boat Rental We probably also will be traveling to the city area for most of our time to see the big picture. THANK YOU!

I live in Duluth, then there I can say I am very familiar with the sights field as my house will do! But I think the most popular would be the Spirit in the mountains or at the home of Buffalo. SM to the center (or probably the most important park of the channel) is probably 50-10 minutes down the road. The BH is probably more around 10-15 minutes through I35 too. If you got there, they have an informal bar / restaurant with very good food. www.visitduluth.com have an ad from a couple campgrounds with each site you can find out more information. There are probably a little further to the North Shore out of the 35 freeway to the area falls gooseberry. But then it would be more than one unit to get to the heart of Duluth, where you probably want to do most of their rides. If you really want access to water for fishing, etc., Indian Point Campground seems the best option. I'm really not familiar with it, but looking at your site, it seems to be a decent place. Mentions / bike canoe Kayak / Lease. Good luck and hope you have a great holiday!

Poland’s Olympic kayak team trains here to this day. On this lake is also the City Centre for Sport and Recreation (MOSiR – Miejski Orodek Sportu i Rekreacji) which makes a wide range of sporting equipment available, including motor boats, kayaks, water bikes and the leisure boat Delfin. The centre also serves as a starting point for numerous walking and biking trails as well as kayak excursions. The so-called Ptla Waecka, a kayaking route that traverses six lakes begins here and ends at Lake Byty Wielki. Situated on the shores of the lakes are numerous beaches, swimming areas, camping spots and sporting equipment rentals. Within a short distance of the city … More:
