What paperwork should I be deprived of a seller to buy a Boat and trailer, in Connecticut.?
About to buy my first boat and trailer from a dealer particularly in Connecticut. It will be a small center console, at £ 3,000 for boats and trailers. What paperwork should we complete? I need a separate account of sale of boat and trailer? What do I need to take to the DMV in order to register both? Looking for input from people who have been through this before. It is also required insurance for any boat or trailer in Connecticut? Already have a safe Boating certificate or PWO and all information relating to safety equipment, just looking for information about registration. Thanks in advance, Brian
You should get the title signed by boat on you. If the owner can not produce a title, then there buy until they can get a duplicate from the DMV. This is sure who is buying a stolen boat. The bill of sale is also required to state price paid for tax purposes.
