What was your experience of trying to get a C-leg?

For those lucky enough to have a C-leg, how easy / difficult was it for you have one? To me, unless I pay $ 5,000 as my percentage with my insurance, I will not be getting one. I almost missed the Boat this year since I would require at least have a flex-spending account at work designed to help alleviate some of coup to pay $ 5,000 for my leg. It just seems that unless I am in dire financial where I can get some kind of government help, I'm stuck with my hydraulic knee. I'm an active person and I use my leg all day at work then something better for sure would be nice. Amputees are other similar or is there a trick to get a C-leg? I'm very jealous of those who have them. Take care, joy Come on has anyone else tried to do a C-leg? Even with insurance coverage of 90%, $ 5,000 is a chunk of money! Certainly there have been people who have obtained easier to pay $ 5,000.

Do not have one, but clubs like the Lion to buy "stuff." They are not as prone to afford medical treatment or college tuition as solid tangible things visible. See if there is a local group. (Most do only things related the eyes.)
