Do you think high school needs a laptop?
This year was very difficult for me because I had to share the computer with the rest of my family. And next year will be worse, because instead of two advanced classes, I'll be taking 4. I always had work to do research or testing, then probably I spent 3 or 4 hours a night, typing on a typical day. I'm trying to get my parents to get me one for my 16th birthday next week (not $ 1000 each, or super expensive), but I think it's stupid. And I can not buy one for me because all my money that I do this summer is going to buying car insurance. They have enough money, since my father is about to buy a Boat for $ 2000, and my moms going on a trip across the country with your friends. The laptop I want is $ 450. In your opinion, do you think high school taking college level classes and advanced needs them? I I feel I need it because I would not be able to stay on the computer until like 7, so I was always working late at home, and got maybe about 5 hours sleep per night.
Yes, you definitely will. In my school, 97% of students own laptops. It saved my life a lot more [tests, assignments, not having to rely on the school library] and is much more convenient and taking class notes on them is helpful. So I guess you really must have one:)
