Boat Insurance Pay Monthly

How much can I rent part of my yard to my neighbor who wants to park your Boat and trailer there?
Some years ago another neighbor wanted to park your boat and trailer on our land for a short time. The short time turned into almost two years for free. Moreover, he ended up using parts of our backyard, we never agreed to, a parked van exploded there and when he moved, he returned six months later to finally get his boat and vehicles removed. He left burnt metal and tons of glass and never offered to clean it up or pay anything. Another neighbor asked us today if he could rent the area and he keep it, cut the yard in around it, etc. The area behind our shed and behind part of our grid. It has a 2 car garage, which is old and cracked, where a barn used sit there. The courtyard around it is also about the same size. Will this cause our insurance to go up any? Is there anything else we should consider renting it on a monthly basis. AND we could charge? Thanks.
I believe creates a liability problem for you. If any child was hurt the boat would come after you as landlord. I would do a lease with strict guidelines regarding the size of the leased area. Also explain that if the rent is past 30 days, the boat will be removed off the property at their expense. Go read the landlord tenant laws of your state, it will give you an idea of how go about this. But while the rental agreement does not violate state law can do anything) term (s find necessary for the situation. Also see if you can have them get a renters insurance policy .. Not sure, but there are policies for this situation makes them get renters insurance to cover any injuries.
