How do I become a specialist horse insurance? I'm studying to be a general (everything from cars to boats) insurance agent in Florida. However, I go to the horse track almost every day to visit my father, who trains 25 horses. One day he came to me you need insurance for race horses too, so it would compliment my current situation to become a specialist horse insurance also? How do I to start?
You can also talk to people on the track that your insurance company is and then see if they are hiring / training. Probably not all insurance companies cover the horse race as there are probably a lot of responsibility for injury to horses, and so on. Sounds like a interesting area.
