Boat Insurance Rates

Insurance question related to a 1987 5.7L IROCZ?
Hello I'm 17 and have saved enough money to buy a 1987 IROC-Z with 350TPI, 140K. Now, when I bought the car a year ago I could afford to hold, but was too young to drive. I was supposed to get my G2 license in August. I've prepared for the road to but I'm in Ontario and to conduct strike is still ongoing. And to top it all, insurance companies raised their prices! I can not pay too much to hold the car when spring comes. My mother did a good good … why not insure the car with her name in a different insurance company and me placed as a pilot school? That way I can enjoy the excellent prices and hell I bet she can have some fun with this car. The car would not be safe in itself, it will only be insured incase I hit someone and damage them. Does this affect your insurance rate on its main business of another (2 cars, house Boat)? Thanks!
It is called "fronting" and insurance companies are wise to it. If you try it, chances are you (and mom) will be discovered, and the company will probably terminate the contract, which put him in a worse position than you are now – young driver, car hot, canceled the coverage, which means higher premiums even if you're looking at now http://www.buzzle.com/articles/car-insurance. -Companies-guard-against-fronting.html you be more prudent ignore the baby magnet for a few years and get a beater that you can pay cash for, so when you set up (we hope) a good driving record, go for it. If you try to IROC now, premiums (if you can still get coverage) will eat him alive.
