Some facts about the Loch Ness
There have been many sightings of the famous Loch Ness monster, many of which are in the 20th century.
The first mention Loch Ness Monster sighting was in 565AD when St. Columba was believed to have found Nessie. It is believed that St. Columba saved the life of a place that was attacked by this monster.
Aldourie Castle was a place of first appearance of this monster of Loch Ness, in the 20th century, when Mrs. Aldie Mackay said he witnessed one be seen as a whale in 1933. This evolved to the story being reported in the Inverness Courier, and as a result, the monster became a modern legend.
The same year saw a total reported sightings of the Loch Ness Monster. In the summer, Mr. Spicer and his wife reported observing a huge long-necked creature before crossing the road before they vanished the lake. Amazing press attention followed by national newspapers copy of the incident.

2008 An Atlantic 75 lifeboat B707 Mercurius was put into service on Wednesday, April 2. At this time there are now 234 established posts RNLI.
