Boat Insurance Storage

What do I need to rent our way to extra storage?

In our house we have two driveways. The extra path runs beside our house and is quite long. Would it be ok to rent it to someone who owns a Boat or RV and need to store it? Do I need a license or something special to do that legally? Also, if something happens to your boat or RV while on my property, that its insurance coverage it or it would be mine?

I do not need a license, but need to find out if local law prevents them from having boats or RV on the sidewalk – some do. You must have a contract letting, and should indicate that they should insure the item and are not responsible for any damage to it while parked there. Always collect rent in advance, usually start 3-6 months once with these items. Require that they have to move it on his application, with 24 hours notice to them, or you have permission to move it to 24 hours in advance for them. That way, if you need access, you can get it.
