what type of truck I need to tow a truck mudding / 23-25 'Boat.
Hello, I was wondering if I need a 150/250/350 1500/2500/3500. Someone I know got a lifted 4×4 mud truck 1978 f150 for sale and I was thinking about getting it. The only problem is that there is street legal. I'm wondering what kind of truck I need to pull it (I prefer a diesel engine so I can use it for many years as a work truck). Moreover, in the future I intend to have a 21-24 "Wakeboard / Boat Skii. I think this may be lighter than the truck .. so I researched the different trucks can pull weights, but I still can not decide.
Without knowing the exact weight that you only have to guess. I'm guessing that the truck weighs about 6000 pounds. Most light commercial vehicles could carry this with no problem. Even a 24 'ski boat can be towed easily by a light duty. If you want a diesel you'll have to go with the 250/2500 or more away. But from what you're saying you do not need heavy duty trucks for this type of work.
