Boat Lights Red

Trailer lighting and wiring problems. You can help me solve this mystery?
The other day I completely rewired my trailer the Boat and replaced the tail lights on it. When I hook the trailer to my truck, '99 Ford Ranger, brake lights and flashers work fine on my truck and trailer. When I turn on the headlights of the truck trailer rear lights glow so intensely and not answer to any of the brakes or turn signals. I'm almost sure I have everything connected right, with amendments as good and sound reasons, due to the fact that everything works fine when the headlights are off. The lights that I installed are the circular Peterson with a red wire, black wire, and a white wire to the ground. Im sure the red wires are the brakes and turn signals are blacks. I have no blown fuses the vehicle as well. Ive ruled out almost all the possibilities I can think of, but I am not a professional by any means and do not have much experience with this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Hurry I need to go fishing soon, or I'll lose!
there are 4 white wires to earth ground can be connected trailr the frame or running straight truck, but must give reasons for tow truck. the other three wires are tail lights for both sides, then the brake left / right turn and brake / turn if the tail light is brighter than turn the brake light wires are crossed in the two brake light.the is the brighter side Lamp
