Boat Lights Requirements

What are the requirements to operate a Boat in FL after dark?
In Florida, what are the requirements to operate a boat after dark? My specific interest is the lighting needs (lifejackets + whistle are the only requirements during the day). I have to have a gun fire? I Googled it but all sites are Boating law specific to the engine running and / or sail boats. I can not find anything about canoes. If you can provide a source of his information, which would be even better.
In general you need a white light that is visible 360 degrees around the boat. A lantern is sufficient. You will not need a firearm, but a few red flairs can be useful at night.
