Boat trailer wiring troubleshooting?
Iam having trouble with my boat brake lights and flashers on the trailer. My ranger for p / up RECPT has a pin 4 and the boat trailer has a matching bookmark. All lights are lights in the truck trailer functioning.The light when I turn on the lights of the truck, but turnsignals and brake lights wont work.I clean the contacts, but still nothing I also looked for broken wires and found no any.what to try next?
Check the plug truck.My brother and I had the same problem check out the boats and wiring harness only to find that his record has been eroded, and its a 2006 Dodge Ram. He had to replace the plug on the truck. Simple things, good luck.
