Boat Lights Uscg

It is 28 too old to join the Coast Guard as a soldier member?
As said I'm 28, male, and interested in participating in the USCG. I know 27 is the cut, but I heard that I can join up to 32 years, depending on my career. I am ready willing and able to participate, but I wonder if I missed the Boat for a year. I'd hate to think I missed a great opportunity. I wish I had all my facts before visiting the local recruiter, can anyone shed light on this Thanksgiving? For the link. I remember 32 being mentioned, but I do not know if it was for prior service. Just a side note, "A" school is not confined to the kitchen. There are very few options that have "A" school training, including electronics, mechanics, etc.
28 is not too late. I think the cutoff age is 35, but you can not turn 35 while you are in bootcamp as pretty as she is 34. as long as you are inside their height and weight requirements and pass the fitness test you will be fine. you can have some of the young make fun of you to come so late, but it is not as bad as the guys who come together when they are 34. I'm in the Navy and I saw a lot of older guys make fun of the end for membership, but do not let that stop you to participate. Your recruiter can answer any questions you might have, but do not let them fool you. when in doubt, ask!
