Boat Loan Affordability
Why blame the government entirely for housing affordability?
is not pure greed of young Australians that prevent them from offering your first home? I am a loan manager for a large bank and every day we are confronted with the same scenario – a young couple wanting house built in the area, good – they will not consider something smaller, cheaper or more – and when we look at the financial situation – two new cars, many piles of CDs, TV, s, computers, toys (like boats, motorcycles) – a lot of this is on credit because they do not want to wait and save – and then they wonder why they can not afford to mortgage repayments (more pride wonderful honeymoon abroad) – this all seems a pad – what happened to the spirit of good old fighter who has been the foundation of Australia – I'm not old – in my 40 – so these comments are not out of touch – its time we realize how we become greedy and put some of the blame back on our own shoulders – now that is the Brazilian spirit – is not it?
Its not a coincidence that young people are wanting more. We minister a major money-hungry following a president even more money hungry all to ensure that money is the most important thing in our lives. I can not get a house old to 260 000 from anywhere on the Gold Coast. I want to start as you suggest, but not about the house about its location. Anything within a heavely hour from the coast is cheaper. Release more land, reducing demand and therefore the cost. Its simple and works, becoming affordabble.
