What kind of job did you get right after you graduated college?

Hello everyone. I just graduated from college last May. I have my degree in Communications and Women and Gender Studies. I was just wondering what kind of work all you have after graduation? Specifically, if you graduated with a degree of liberal arts or anything else that was not necessarily a specific career (eg nursing) major. I'm working currently in a supermarket. It was a shock to me financially and to my self-esteem. I feel like I'm the only one with a crap job and $ 45,000 + debt student loan. Do not get me wrong, I'm happy to be employed, but at $ 8.00 per hour and only 20 work hours per week, I really do not I'm cutting. I'm currently trying to get second jobs. Anyone else in same Boat? Or was in a similar situation?

After graduating w / a degree liberal arts took it easy and went to work about 4 years. He worked summers on Fire Island and Sanibel Island in the winters. He worked about 70 hours a week and still more party. So I wandered from one to another dead end for another four years and in that moment I was very concerned and felt that maybe I should have entered into serious as I was traveling. One of these studies was an associate of the stock room, one of the leaders here told me to 'get off the phone because I did not deserve to occupy the time in the company, as I was not a "revenue generator. It was very humbling and somewhat of an eye opener. At the end of work lead to another dead one where I met someone who would employe and taught me a lot. This work lead to another job where I met someone else that would help me get to work where I am now. Been here for 10 years and never expected to to be doing what I'm doing now. Keep your head up, nose to the wheel and yes, be willing to take on multiple jobs. The most important thing to remember is to kick the ass of any work you undertake. Once you start doing this, you will learn to be a good employee, gain confidence in their abilities and this will begin to show in your interviews. Good Luck.
