Boat Loan Star
I have a Mercury engine 2300 course, not sure about changing the oil in the bottom of the unit and to fill?
Just bought an old Boat much of a star of the loan, has no papers for him yet, but I think it's a 69Yr. Its got a 300 mercury engine two times I drained the oil in lower unit and I'm not sure how to fill it again. And when I drained the oil had water in it, so can I fix it?
well if oil was tan color that you have water or a leak in the oil, the best way I found to refill the device is smaller, with a smaller pump unit, the screw It to the drain and the oil pump at the bottom of the unit until it comes to filling the form, even screw on the top, if you do not correct the problem that is contaminating the oil you will ruin the lower unit, probably around a shaft seal or rod seal shifter
