Boat Seats Captain Chairs
How could I attach a seat / bench to a shell of old fiberglass fishing Boat?
I have an old 16-foot boat Edson fiberglass that has been converted in a fishing boat with two captain chairs. Want to add one seat to the boat to be able to take the kids fishing too, but I'm not sure how to attach Bank of wood framed (I'm planning to do) for the fiberglass boat floors. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, etc. I'd say I could attach a bank wood framed floor with fiberglass / resin, but I do not know how. Is there an easier way?
Very easily, on the one hand, to join pieces Wooden boat bottom fiberglass matte, cloth and resin. then use stainless steel screws or lags to attach the wooden bench. I recommend stainless steel fasteners, because they are just a taste of rust.
