Boat Seats Colorado

what is a good fishing Boat for a first time buyer?

Never had a boat before, and I'm looking for a fishing boat. I'm looking to spend less $ 2,000 and I am looking for something without a gas-powered engine. I want it to seat 4 or 6. where can I look? What can I expect to own a boat? What should I seek, and what should I avoid? I will use it in lakes and reservoirs in Colorado. links and pictures would be wonderful! I'll vote for your answer the best! thanks!

Here the internet is the best place to look. I would recommend a good alum. flat bottom Jon boat. With 4-6 people fishing from a boat to me that's a lot of people in a small boat fishing. Make sure you get a good level, the higher the better. This makes it more stable. 4 people can be a 14ft, but I recommend at least a 16 feet. Some Jon boats have short sides are to lakes, be sure to get one with deep sides are for Lakes and Reservoirs. (There are people with big boats that kick arouses great and could swamp you, so be careful) I started with a 12ft deep V LoneStar, rose from a champion 20ft w/225 through various vessels. Now I'm back to a 14ft Starcraft V. I would rather have deep a16-18ft-IV Yes me. Even at 20ft over two people fishing at the same time seemed to be crowded. I would prefer a more rivieted soldier, if you buy a used vessel or any rivieted not forget to put it in water for several minutes to see if there are leaks. Hope this helps. Have fun fishing, I do!
