Attaching the pedestal Boat Seats?
I'm putting decks on my boat and I was wondering how I can put on my boat pedestal seats (which tools i need) thanks.
My friend, I have found something you might want to look at that might give you a very good project to modify your plan aluminum boats. As bases Mounting pedestal make sure you have adequate support to build their bases. An extra thickness of material of deck (plywood or whatever you are using) floor below you, plus large washers and fender mounting hardware stainless will last much longer than the galvanized bolt and nuts. As mentioned a puzzle or a hole saw (or whatever size your base requires), and an electric drill can be used to hold the pedestal or base of a drill and drills a surface base mounting. If you have not bought their bases, however, you may want to get the bushing of brass or bronze insert. They last forever and does not crack as plastic.
