Looking split rim for trailer Boat?
I have a 12 foot boat trailer I bought to carry my aluminum boat. The trailer is done at home. I need a spare tire and rim for trailer, but I have a problem. The wheels of the trailer are split rim style, no split ring. No places around me have a border like this and most have never seen this style before. To expel the country to find an edge as this is out of question. The border is done by nut and cotter key. It would be cheaper and easier just by a different refabricate trailer this trailer. How can I get a kidney for the trailer?
It seems to me as if you have wheels to a piece of farm equipment, as they have wheels like this. I suggest you get a new shaft as small wheels that you will wear out quickly and has hubs waterproof. You'll always be playing with the wheels and bearings. Regards, Dan
