help with using fiberglass?
Hey im doing a catamaran powered RC weedeater sculptor and I have only 2 sheets of Styrofoam for hull forms that I I, now I need to cover them in fiberglass for strength. i havent used fiberglass before and I need to know everything I need to cover the Boat and I also I put the finish coat after you give your a really good look. what products I need as I do not really understand Hardner and all that so any help would be appreciated. thanks
Well, first, you will be using a polyester resin * * when using a resin, fiberglass, and you definitely need to understand certain things about mixing it and apply it, etc., before you start. You still need to understand that polyester resin is not great for the lungs, then you defnitely need lots of ventilation or a mask serious.
