Holiday Lights: Parades Boat in Southern California
Many road trip planners to concentrate on the nearest boat parade. Floating light parades are a cherished holiday tradition along the southern coast of California and other states, while White Winter Wonderlands at almost every turn, Coastal California, offers a different kind of thinking in the winter. Here, the insights reflect off the water instead of shutting down slopes covered with snow. But the twinkling lights are familiar in all places. So either hop aboard a boat wrapped or lined up along the waterfront and join the revelry.
One of the nicest ways to enjoy the parade is to see the boats glide by the window of his restaurant you dine in comfort and warmth. Most restaurants take months beachfront reservations in advance (add the number of reservations for the trip planner and then print the itinerary and keep a copy in the car). * LONG BEACH PARADE OF LIGHTS 1000 in the Central Coastal Marina. Some of the best views can be found along the boardwalk in Shoreline Village. Most of the parking in and around this parking area will be paid. DATES: December 13, 2008, 7 pm BONUS TIP: Take Long Beach center planning of your trip, because there are many other fresh water themed activities, as you can enjoy jumping aboard the Queen Mary or visit the Aquarium of the Pacific.
* Los Angeles Harbor Holiday Parade to light – This parade shows the boats as they cruise along the Port of Los Angeles's main channel. You can see the boats from a number of places like Banning Landing Community Center or the Port of Los Angeles Cruise Ship Promenade at Harbor Boulevard in San Pedro. Another popular point of view is called the Ports O 'Village 1100 Nagoya Way San Pedro, and the Cabrillo Marina, 200 Whaler's Walk, also in San Pedro. DATES: December 06, 2008, 6-7:30 pm BONUS TIP: Consider staying at the Hilton Port of Los Angeles / San Pedro because he is only a ΒΌ mile walk from the hotel to the Cabrillo Marina.
* MARINA DEL REY boat parade – The fisherman in the vicinity of the village is an excellent place for viewing this show. Include fireworks and boat trial. Click here to see the winners of last year. DATES: Dec. 13. * NEWPORT BEACH CHRISTMAS boat parade – This event is an annual Christmas definitely add to your travel planner. Join the nearly one million spectators to others as you see beautifully decorated yachts, boats, kayaks, canoes and sail along the Newport Harbor. People in places as far away as Arizona and San Francisco have been known to make the trip to participate in this holiday custom. Viewing is free, provided you can find a vantage point. DATES: December 17 to December 21, 2008, celebrating its 100th year! The parade starts at 18:30 Bay Island and ends in the same place at approximately 9:00 each night. Fireworks will begin at 06:25 of the Balboa Pier, shortly before the start of the parade at 6:30 pm
Your trip planner and your car may be the "King of the Road" until you reach the sea, but once there, the "ladies" rule, then sit back and enjoy the slide.
