I was in our new Wal-Mart Superstore looking to pick up some gear. I looked at each rod and reel and each of them are Made in China. Shakesphere, Berkley, Shimano, Rapala and more upseting was Abu Garcia. My question is, there are two products here, Made in China goes to Wal Mart. And made the North America to other specialty stores. Which products (rod and reel) are made in North America. I will not put any Made in China crap in my Boat.The Canadian made line is drawn!
G-Loomis rods are made in the U.S. and I swear by them. they are expensive but well worth the investment. Abu Garcia Reels are some of the best made and I would recommend them.
