Wiring Boat Lights Navigation
How would I equip a 14ft v bottom Boat with navigation lights and interior lights to light the inside?
I'm thinking of having a separate battery just for lighting. I have no idea how to connect it at all, so I need to know is what I need to do. I also like to have about four small lamps mounted inside the side so I can see inside at night.

Try as a good starting point, information is accurate and you can buy the complete wiring systems with them too. I would only suggest LED lighting as the best choice. Fluro a transmission mount electronic noise when operating in a way radios, etc. can be full of static if the light is on. Fluro tubes fail very quickly when the voltage is very low as well – I found them boring and given the wide choice in modern LED lighting is no reason to use them. LED lighting will draw one-tenth one third of the power of other systems. Make sure the lighting is compatible browser – simply replacing incandescent bulbs with substitutes LED is not legal – or often very effective. Reflectors etc. are completely different. All connections should be soldered and sealed with adhesive lined shrink tube. All wiring must be double-edged – and positive returns, no part of the vessel must always be used as ground. While the switch panel that you are looking ok there are much better options available now, this drive is an old project and I feel is very light and not very resistant to corrosion. He will work though.
