Can a .45 Long Colt "Cowboy Action Shoot Out" round fired from a safe 0.410 "Snake Charmer Shotgun?
A bud of mine maintains a "Snake Charmer" on both of his cars and his fishing Boat. It uses the .410 shells in most cases, but argues that he shoots the .45 Long Colt ammunition without problems – just do not need truth, but the real power effectively Wise Up next case of need. I saw the .45 LC ammo in your SUV's console with the gun resting beside his seat. I have not seen the fire .410 shotgun .45 LC. I've heard of people doing it for decades, and I saw people do it. But I would not. At least I did not use a modern + P .45 load on an old LC 0.410. Think about it, you have a hole, 0.410 "diameter, and that the constriction of the snout with a bottleneck. And you add a .452 "-. 454" bullet. This will increase the pressure significantly. See why I said I would not use a + P load. No thanks. If I want power an extra 0.410 (which is not a laugh) I'm going to use slugs or Buckshot, if I can find them. Overall, I have no respect at all for hunting as 0.410 an arm or defensive. I'd rather have a .45 caliber revolver, a rifle or a .22 LR to .410. FWIW, some of the snake charmers were indeed looted and cameras to take both Lc 0.45 and 0.410 shotshells. They have a 0.452 "hole in general.
